I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
